Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, this part-time role (3 days per week) is offered on a maximum term contract of up to 12 months. You will manage WCS' client relationship management system in a marketing and fundraising environment, with a key focus on supporting the migration to Salesforce.
You will streamline processes for effective data collection, maintain strong data hygiene, and support robust reporting and analytics that help WCS engage supporters and deliver on its mission.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the CRM migration project under the direction of the Individual Giving Manager.
- Liaise with implementation partners to support the setup of the new Salesforce system.
- Manage the CRM on an ongoing basis, including user access, data security and data integrity.
- Create and implement data content and collection processes aligned with organisational processes and privacy requirements.
- Maintain integrations with third-party platforms, including fundraising and marketing systems.
- Support the development of policies, procedures and controls to maintain high standards of data cleanliness and user access.
- Set up reporting templates and dashboards for the Engagement team and key users across the WCS network.
- Lead in-house training and provide staff support on database functionality and reporting.
- Represent WCS at nominated meetings and forums as required.
- Support other business priorities, professional development activities and database or information tasks as needed.

Essential skills and experience
- Demonstrated practical experience using Salesforce.
- Experience using Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and Marketing Cloud, or similar systems.
- Experience supporting CRM migration projects and applying good data hygiene practices.
- Robust project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting capability.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Ability to think strategically, solve problems and respond constructively to feedback.
- Strong operational skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- A helpful, solutions-driven approach to work.
Desirable skills and experience
- Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong understanding of fundraising platforms and integrations.
- Experience in fundraising, grant writing or applications.
- Ability to understand the complexities and sensitivities of communications relating to domestic and family violence and homelessness.
- Understanding of current issues in women's homelessness, including current responses to domestic and family violence.
