MacKellar is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team supporting Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region.

About the Role

As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment to support safe and reliable operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Performing maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment
- Completing component replacements, overhauls and fault diagnostics
- Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Conducting daily inspections and refuelling activities
- Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives




- Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to identify and implement practical solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
- Post-trade experience within the mining industry
- Proven experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safe work practices and preventative maintenance
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
