About the Role

As a Train Loadout Operator, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of the train load-out facility and associated mobile equipment. You will also operate a water truck to support dust suppression and site activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating train load-out systems and associated mobile equipment
- Operating water trucks and undertaking dust suppression activities
- Completing pre-starts and basic equipment inspections
- Monitoring plant performance and reporting faults, hazards and maintenance requirements
- Supporting the team to achieve daily production targets
- Maintaining high standards of safety,



housekeeping and environmental compliance

About You

To be successful, you will have previous mining experience and a strong commitment to safe and productive operations.

You will bring:

- Previous experience in coal train load-out operations or similar mining environments
- Experience operating heavy mobile equipment
- Relevant RII competencies or signed SSE transcript
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical
- Strong understanding of mining safety and environmental requirements
- Sound mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify equipment issues
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a high-performing team

Trade qualifications such as Diesel Fitter or Boilermaker will be highly regarded.
