Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine SMO to provide night shift cover at a regional hospital.

This role is suited to an experienced ED doctor who is confident managing Emergency Department presentations overnight, supporting patient flow, completing clinical documentation and escalating care appropriately when required.

Clinical Environment:

Emergency Department night shift cover
Regional hospital setting within Southern NSW LHD
Suitable for experienced SMO-level doctors
Supportive environment with escalation pathways available

Key Duties:

Assess and manage ED presentations
Support clinical decision-making and patient flow
Complete documentation and handover
Escalate care appropriately when required
Work collaboratively with nursing and hospital teams

Eligibility Criteria:

Current AHPRA Registration
Recent Emergency Medicine experience at SMO level
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately




Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
