Job description

MC/HC Truck Driver - Fuel Delivery

Tas Petroleum is a family-owned wholesale fuel distributor that delivers to all regions of Tasmania.

We currently have a vacancy for a shift driver based in Devonport.

The shift comprises a minimum of 72 hours per fortnight which is split into 6 twelve-hour day shifts as follows:

Work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, off Sunday.

Work Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday then off for seven days until the following Thursday.

Some overtime and additional shifts will be required to cover other drivers leave.

The following are essential requirements:

- Current and valid MC or HC Licence

- Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work practices, including fatigue management

- An understanding of the requirements of shift work

- Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures

- Solid work ethic

- Customer service

- Sound communication skills.





These are desirable and/or would be advantageous:

- Fuel’s experience

- Basic Fatigue Management

- Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence

- Safe Load Pass (SLP)

(Fatigue Management, Dangerous Goods & SLP licence training can be provided for the right applicant)
