Beaconhills College are seeking a Head of English (9-12) to join us at our Pakenham Campus in 2027.
The Head of English (9-12) builds the capacity of staff in the Education Blueprint to design effective teaching, learning, curriculum and instruction.
The role creates the conditions where teachers in the faculty can thrive, through an emphasis on reflective practice, continuous improvement and collaboration.
The successful applicant must thrive on working as part of a dynamic team of dedicated professionals who are committed to fostering excellence in their students.

- This position is at our Pakenham Campus
- The Head of English (9-12) position of responsibility has a tenure of 3 years
- This role comes with an allowance of $10,910 per annum which has been included in the annual salary and 6 periods of time release per cycle
- This position requires a current VIT registration
- 2 day dedicated new staff induction - rated 4.7 out of 5 stars by our 2025 new teacher intake
- All new teachers are assigned a mentor and encouraged to participate in our mentor program
