St Paul & St Anthony Child Care Centre is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager or Nominated Supervisor to join the team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This is a senior position for someone with a robust understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory compliance and the day-to-day requirements of operating a high-quality early childhood education and care service.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the centre's regulatory and compliance requirements
- Support the Approved Provider, management team and educators
- Review and maintain policies, procedures and compliance systems
- Prepare the service for Assessment and Rating
- Review and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
- Conduct internal compliance audits and identify areas requiring improvement
- Ensure educator practices align with the National Quality Standard and National Quality Framework
- Monitor documentation, staff records, training requirements and regulatory obligations
- Provide practical guidance and training to educators and responsible persons
- Implement systems that support consistent compliance across the service
About you
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Nominated Supervisor, Compliance Manager or in a comparable senior early childhood compliance role
- Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations
- Direct experience with Assessment and Rating
- Demonstrated history of helping early childhood services improve their NQS performance
- Personally assisted a service rated Working Towards NQS to achieve Meeting NQS or Exceeding NQS
- Confident identifying compliance gaps and putting practical corrective measures in place
- Capable of working with educators, management and the Approved Provider to achieve measurable improvements
