Sydney

At MinterEllison, we're leading the way with AI and other emerging technologies, powering innovation right across our firm. You will have the opportunity to engage with AI tools we've built, and other external AI tools, to enhance efficiencies and excellence internally and with our clients.

The Team

As AI reshapes how work is performed across professional services, we are reimagining the way People Services delivers value to our people, leaders and business. We are moving beyond traditional service models towards an AI-enabled, insight-driven and continuously improving function that combines people expertise, technology, data and process excellence.

This role leads a team of three Digital Analysts who deliver People Digital platform services across SuccessFactors and other People platforms, managing a mixed portfolio, alongside strategic optimisation and AI enablement initiatives. This leadership opportunity sits within People Services and operates at the intersection of People and Technology. It is a rare chance to help define how human and digital work come together within one of Australia's leading professional services firms. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across People & Culture, Technology, Data, Finance, Risk and the firm's broader AI governance and innovation agenda.

Your Role

As Senior Manager Optimisation and AI Enablement, you will lead the redesign of how work happens across People Services. You will lead the Digital and AI capability combining day to day platform operations with the redesign and optimisation of how work happens across the employee lifecycle.

Rather than focusing on technology implementation alone, you will identify opportunities to eliminate unnecessary work, simplify processes and apply automation and AI in ways that improve employee experience, productivity, quality and effectiveness.

You will bring together stakeholders from across People, Technology, Data, Finance and Risk to reimagine workflows, establish governance frameworks, drive adoption and measure value outcomes. This is a highly strategic and hands-on transformation role suited to someone who enjoys building new capabilities, influencing senior leaders and delivering meaningful change.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the end-to-end redesign of People Services processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Driving AI-enabled workflow modernisation and identifying opportunities for automation, augmentation and process simplification.
- Facilitating cross-functional workshops that challenge existing assumptions about work, systems, data and service delivery.
- Developing clear measures of success across adoption, productivity, quality, employee experience and risk outcomes.
- Owning the delivery portfolio, sprint governance and ensure service continuity.

This role will appeal to someone who wants more than a traditional transformation position. It offers the opportunity to shape a recent capability, influence AI-enabled ways of working at scale and help define how one of Australia's leading professional services firms responds to the future of work.

What you'll bring

We welcome applications from experienced transformation leaders who can operate comfortably between strategy, operations, technology and people.

You will likely bring:

- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale AI, digital or business transformation initiatives.
- Significant capability in process redesign, transformation and human-centred work design.
- Experience gained within consulting, strategy, transformation, digital enablement or organisational change environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the credibility to work with executive leaders and secure support for transformational initiatives.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to build capability from the ground up, and willing to lead through change.

We offer opportunities to work on industry-leading mandates for top-tier clients, while being part of a high-performing and collaborative team that values excellence, diversity of thought, curiosity, and inclusion. We value our people and empower them to achieve their ambitions, with the support, trust and autonomy to grow their careers in meaningful ways.

We support sustainable ways of working regarding how, when and where you work and offer a wide range of social, financial and health benefit
