About Our Client

We are exclusively partnering with a premier national provider of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) to find a motivated Graduate Field Service Engineer. Our client’s service division focuses on delivering exceptional, customized site support. They are committed to helping their customers achieve critical building performance objectives, including optimizing energy efficiency, ensuring thermal comfort, enhancing indoor environmental quality, and meeting robust sustainability targets.

The Opportunity

This is a fully site-based role where you will be highly visible to clients and serve as the face of the business. You will blend traditional practical engineering skills with consulting and problem-solving to deliver high-value outcomes. You will join an intentionally structured small team (up to six members) designed to foster close collaboration, deep skill development, and strong camaraderie.

Key Responsibilities

- Preventative Maintenance & Service: Deliver comprehensive on-site maintenance to fulfill contracted obligations, ensuring timely completion and reporting within 24 hours.

- Client Liaison & Relationship Building: Proactively contact clients prior to and upon arrival at the site, building strong credibility and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.

- Defects Liability Period (DLP) Support: Manage warranty services, perform detailed site pre-checks, report defects, and collaborate seamlessly with the project delivery team.

- Breakdown Resolution & Call-Outs: Efficiently handle service breakdown calls, providing transparent ETAs and concluding with face-to-face debriefs and actionable service reports.

- Consulting & Enhancements: Identify and present strategic opportunities for system upgrades, working closely with the Account Management team to deliver value-driven solutions.





- Financial & Project Management: Ensure diligent financial tracking of jobs for excellent cost recovery and target margins, with opportunities to manage Special Projects under $10k.

- Technically Minded: Basic understanding of HVAC plant applications, control principles, IT/device networks, and electrical safety (an electrical / mechanical trade qualification or engineering degree is highly advantageous but not strictly mandatory).

Successful candidates will be remunerated with a competitive base salary of $70K + Super + Company Vehicle (After 6 months).
