THE POSITION

- Food preparation and cooking
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
- Providing friendly customer service
- Function catering and large-volume cooking
- Stocktaking and inventory control
- Ensuring HACCP compliance, food safety procedures, and adherence to OH&S; regulations
- General kitchen and cleaning duties as required

THE PERSON

- Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent Chef trade qualification)
- Experience in bulk cooking
- Proven experience delivering high-quality catering for meetings, events, and functions
- Highly organised,



energetic, and hands-on leader
- Passionate about healthy and nutritious food, with strong knowledge of food safety and allergen management compliance
- Experience working in functions and large-volume kitchens
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Sound understanding of OH&S; regulations, food safety requirements, and HACCP compliance
