Shepherd Lutheran College invites dedicated and enthusiastic teachers to express their interest in permanent and contract teaching positions commencing in 2027.

About Us
Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Lutheran school serving families throughout the beautiful Noosa region on the Sunshine Coast.
Situated on a 9.5-hectare campus, approximately 130 kilometres north of the Brisbane CBD, the College enrols around 1,100 students. As a ministry of the Lutheran Church in Queensland, Good Shepherd maintains strong connections with the Noosa Lutheran Parish and has established a recognised reputation for academic excellence and Christian care.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate:
1. Proven expertise and teaching experience within the Primary Years.
2. Strong skills in the development and implementation of inquiry-based units of work, supported by effective planning, documentation and assessment practices that promote high-quality learning outcomes.
3. Effective classroom management skills and a sound understanding of student behavioural needs.
4. The ability to build positive, respectful and supportive relationships within the College community, while maintaining confidentiality and upholding the values of the College.
5. A strong understanding of the diverse needs of students and the demonstrated ability to support these needs within both classroom and pastoral care contexts.
6. A commitment to Christian education and a demonstrated commitment to the ethos, values and mission of the College.
