This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing and collaborative team where finance plays an important role in supporting commercial decision-making and the ongoing growth of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a broad and hands-on Financial Accountant / Senior Financial Accountant position where you’ll have genuine ownership across financial accounting, month-end, reconciliations, cash and banking, reporting and compliance.
You’ll work closely with the wider Finance team and key stakeholders across the business, gaining strong exposure to the commercial side of the organisation while also having the opportunity to improve processes, systems and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

- Own general ledger maintenance, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage daily bank reconciliations and retail cash-related accounting
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting
- Prepare financial schedules and assist with management reporting
- Support external audits,



statutory reporting and compliance requirements
- Provide support across AP, payroll and broader finance operations
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems
- Assist with financial analysis, projects and other commercial initiatives

About You

- 2–4+ years' experience in accounting, audit or a finance environment
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders across the business
- Retail, consumer goods or multi-site experience highly regarded
