About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our team at TBBQ in Fitzroy, VIC. This is a part-time role, offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting and seating customers in a warm and welcoming manner

- Taking food and beverage orders and inputting them accurately into the system

- Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely and qualified manner

- Responding to customer requests and addressing any concerns promptly

- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

- Restocking and replenishing supplies as needed

- Providing recommendations on menu items and specials

- Assisting with general restaurant duties as required

- Daily close cleaning

What we're looking for

- Previous experience (2 years) as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role. Fine dinning service and/or bartending experience would be ideal.

- Smart and Quick Learner

- Hard Worker

- Punctuality is required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills





- Ability to work well in a team and independently under pressure and fast-paced workplace

- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities with CAN-DO attitude

- Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service

- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends (mainly for dinner service)

- High level of self-awareness and accountability, with effective decision making skills.

- A keen eye on detail to ensure customer being served well

- A valid RSA certificate holder

- Ability to work with POS system

- Hands-on experience of managing reservations

- Full availability over Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday

- it is ideal if you can also speak Mandarin
