Manage and optimise enterprise applications, drive secure reliable systems, seamless integrations and continuous digital improvement.

About the Position
As an ICT Applications Administrator, you will manage, support and optimise the University’s enterprise SaaS and business applications, ensuring platforms remain secure, reliable and aligned with organisational needs. You will oversee application configuration, upgrades, testing, integrations, user access and lifecycle management, while working with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

You will also troubleshoot technical issues, optimise workflows and automation, develop reporting and documentation, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to digital transformation projects, governance and continuous improvement initiatives. At Level 8, you will provide senior technical expertise, lead application improvement initiatives, mentor team members and contribute to complex technology and business transformation projects.

About You
To be successful, you will require:

- Demonstrated experience administering, configuring and supporting enterprise SaaS and business applications in medium to large organisations.
- Experience managing application lifecycles, including implementation, upgrades, testing, releases and ongoing optimisation.
- Proven ability to configure workflows, automation, forms and user access controls to meet business requirements.
- Sound knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM), including incident, request, problem, change and knowledge management.
- Experience supporting integrated systems and troubleshooting APIs, authentication and data integration issues.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Experience preparing technical documentation, procedures, knowledge articles and operational resources.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining service quality.
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.

Additional Criteria at Level 8

- Demonstrated experience acting as a senior application specialist or subject matter expert for critical enterprise systems.
- Proven ability to lead application improvement initiatives and deliver measurable operational outcomes.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, support agreements, licensing arrangements, and service review processes.




- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members and contribute to capability development within the broader ICT function.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to project delivery, business transformation initiatives, and enterprise technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of governance, security, privacy, and compliance requirements applicable to enterprise application environments.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 7/8. The base salary will be in the range of $96,559 - $122,491 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $112,974 - $143,314 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
