About the Role
The successful applicant will undertake a combined role as Early Childhood Teacher and Nominated Supervisor, leading the service's daily operations while delivering high-quality educational programs for children and families.
This ongoing position offers:
- 34.75 hours per week
- Tuesday: 7.45am to 4.30pm
- Wednesday: 7.45am to 4.30pm - non-contact
- Thursday & Friday: 7.45am to 4.30pm
- Non-contact times may be negotiated across 5 days
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a quality educational program in line with Regulation 73 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
- Mentor, guide and support educators in implementing the educational program consistently.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of the Nominated Supervisor, supporting compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Build strong partnerships with children, families and colleagues.
- Foster an inclusive,
engaging and safe learning environment where every child can thrive.
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic educator who values collaboration, reflective practice and making a genuine difference in children's lives. You are a confident leader who enjoys mentoring others while maintaining a solid focus on quality teaching and learning.
You will have:
- An Early Childhood Teaching qualification approved by ACECQA.
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration ? Early Childhood.
- Current First Aid and CPR (Level 2) certification.
- Experience working in early childhood education.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and embedding First Nations perspectives within your pedagogy.
