About the Company:

Our client is a WA-owned and operated Tier 2 commercial builder with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Western Australia.

Established for over 20 years and backed by a larger national group, they have built a strong reputation for successfully delivering projects across apartments, commercial offices, schools, aged care, retail, mixed-use developments and large-scale government projects. Their portfolio typically ranges from $20M–$300M, with a secured pipeline of work well into the future.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking either a Senior Project Engineer or an experienced Project Engineer to join the team on a landmark $115M social housing development in the Northern Suburbs

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be the dedicated Project Engineer on site, taking ownership of the project's structural and precast packages during the initial stages before supporting the delivery of the project through to completion.

Working alongside an experienced project team including a Project Manager, Senior Site Manager, Site Manager, Contract Administrators and Cadet, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your career on one of WA's largest social infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the structural and precast construction packages
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
- Monitor construction progress, quality and programme




- Review drawings and resolve technical construction issues
- Manage RFIs, shop drawings and engineering documentation
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Support procurement and project planning activities
- Work closely with the wider delivery team to achieve project milestones

About you:

- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within commercial construction
- Strong structural construction experience
- Previous precast experience will be highly regarded
- Experience delivering commercial projects valued $30M+
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing project team
