Caring, compassionate, and empathetic support workers that demonstrate initiative and a commitment to delivering person-centred care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

What you'll be doing

- Providing personalised care and support to clients with a range of physical, intellectual and/or psychosocial disabilities
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and community access
- Facilitating social and recreational activities to improve clients' quality of life
- Advocating for clients' rights and promoting their independence and inclusion
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation




- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care

Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with various ages, cultures, and ability levels.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and their families.
- Robust time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred:

minimum six months experience supporting people with disabilities.

- Employee Working with Children’s Check
- A current National Police Check.
- A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car.
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate.

Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work, or similar.
