Arlow Electrical Contracting is a well-established full service electrical, air-conditioning and solar provider operating across South East Queensland. We contract predominantly to Commercial and Industrial clients, with a small number of domestic customers.

Due to continued demand and growth in our Industrial Operations we are seeking an experienced electrician to join our dynamic team. At AEC, we value long-term relationships with our employees and are committed to building a solid, collaborative working environment.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an Electrical Fitter Mechanic who is an ambitious and confident tradesman who enjoys responsibility and diversity in their work. You will be working autonomously performing installation and maintenance work at our site(s) in the Surat Basin working a 2 on, 2 off FIFO roster from Brisbane.

What will you be doing everyday?

As a permanent full time member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

- New installations in a Commercial setting




- Preventive maintenance
- Testing and commissioning
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety documentation
- Effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Sharing our positive atmosphere with clients and fellow staff

What we need from you to apply?

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Qld Electrical work License
- Current driver's license
- White card
- Current CPR/LVR
- Cert II AC (not essential)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A good knowledge of industry standards and procedures, including testing
- A team approach and willing to work well with others
- Appreciation for safety
- Australian work authorisation must be held at time of application
