We are seeking an experiencedHead Motor Mechanic to lead our growing workshop operations.

The role

You will oversee daily workshop activities, supervise the mechanical team, maintain high workmanship standards, and ensure repairs and servicing are completed safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and support mechanics and apprentices
- Diagnose complex mechanical faults
- Allocate jobs and manage workflow
- Perform servicing, repairs, and quality-control inspections
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, and staff

Requirements

- Qualified motor mechanic with relevant trade certification
- Robust diagnostic and technical skills
- Workshop leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Reliable, hands-on approach
