Job Description

Step into a workshop and field service role working across a wide range of fixed plant equipment including planned work, shutdowns and breakdowns. You will be reporting to the supervisors and maintenance superintendent.

- Planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment
- Crushers, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and rotating equipment
- Shutdown maintenance, component change-outs and equipment upgrades
- Hydraulic, pneumatic and lubrication systems to site standards
- Work orders and maintenance documentation through site systems

About the Candidate

A mechanical trade cert is essential - fixed plant or processing experience is a real advantage but driven mechanical fitters from other backgrounds will be considered.

- Experience with fixed plant equipment - crushers, conveyors, pumps and rotating gear preferred
- Physically fit and able to handle 12-hour shifts across a full 2-week swing
- Safety-first mindset and the discipline to follow site isolation and safety procedures
- Reliable, adaptable and ready to contribute from day one
- Current manual driver's licence
- Able to complete a pre-employment medical and national police check
