The Caravan Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Caravan Electrician to join our team in Officer South VIC 3809 . This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality and quality of our caravans. As a Caravan Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing when required electrical systems in our caravans. Your expertise will be essential to our commitment to delivering premium products to our customers and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the caravan industry.

What you'll be doing

Installing rough in and fit off of electrical systems and components in new caravans, including wiring, solar panels, batteries, charging systems and appliances

Diagnosing electrical faults and issues using appropriate testing equipment and methodologies if required

Testing electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Collaborating with other team members, including mechanics and caravan builders, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems

Adhering to all relevant safety regulations, standards and company policies

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Caravan Electrician, preferably with experience in caravan, marine or recreational vehicle electrical systems is preferred

A recognized electrical qualification or apprenticeship is not essential for this role

Strong knowledge of 12V and 240V electrical systems, solar power systems and battery management

Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and circuit analysers

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications





Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

A commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Physical capability to work in various positions and environments within the caravan manufacturing facility

Desirable: Experience with caravan-specific systems such as HWS, inverters, solar panels and Battery Management systems
