Danton Group Australia is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Factory Worker to join our busy fabrication workshop in Kirrawee. We are looking for a reliable and skilled tradesperson with hands‑on experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication who can work independently and contribute to a productive team environment.
This is not an entry-level position . The successful applicant will have proven workshop experience, robust attention to detail, and confidence operating sheet metal machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sheet metal folding using pan brake equipment
- Measure, mark out and set up sheet metal work
- Read and work accurately from measurements and dimensions
- Carry out general light gauge sheet metal fabrication
- Operate forklifts as required
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in light gauge sheet metal fabrication
- Strong measuring and fabrication skills
- Experience operating workshop machinery
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Working with aluminium, galvanised steel, Zincalume and stainless steel sheet metal
