Leasing Agent – Residential Property Management

We’re looking for an energetic and organised Leasing Agent to join our property management team.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who already has experience in residential leasing, or a junior/entry-level candidate who has a good understanding of real estate and property management and is ready to build their career.

Working closely alongside our Business Development Manager (BDM) and Property Managers, you’ll take ownership of the leasing process and help ensure our properties are presented, inspected and leased efficiently while delivering a great experience for prospective tenants and our clients.

The Role

Your primary focus will be getting properties leased. You’ll coordinate leasing campaigns from enquiry through to application, while providing administrative and communication support to the wider property management and new business team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Scheduling and conducting open homes and private inspections across our Brisbane portfolio
- Managing leasing activity across 6 days per week, including Saturday open homes
- Responding to prospective tenant enquiries and coordinating inspections
- Processing tenancy applications, including completing checks and preparing applications for approval
- Following up applicants and keeping prospective tenants informed throughout the process
- Assisting with client/landlord communication throughout leasing campaigns
- Preparing and updating leasing campaign reports
- Monitoring enquiry, inspection attendance, applications and leasing activity
- Assisting the BDM with recent business and leasing administration
- Preparing leasing documentation and assisting with property onboarding
- Keeping property listings, inspection times and leasing information accurate and up to date
- Working closely with Property Managers to ensure a smooth handover once a property is leased




- General administration and support across the leasing and property management team

About You

We’re open to candidates at different stages of their property career.

You may already be working as a Leasing Agent, Leasing Consultant or Property Management Assistant and be looking for your next opportunity. Alternatively, you may be relatively new to the industry but already have a basic understanding of the leasing and property management process and be keen to learn.

Ideally, you’ll have:

- Previous residential real estate, leasing or property management experience or a good foundational understanding of the industry
- Understanding of current legislation that we work under
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence speaking with prospective tenants, landlords and clients
- A professional and friendly approach when conducting inspections
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail when processing applications and completing administration
- The ability to manage multiple properties, inspections and applications at the same time
- A proactive attitude and willingness to follow up, communicate and get things done
- Confidence using technology and property management systems
- A current driver's licence and ability to travel to properties for inspections
- The appropriate Queensland real estate registration/licensing required to perform the role
- Experience using IRE/Reapit, PropertyMe and Realworks would be highly regarded, although training can be provided for the right person.

What You'll Be Working With

You won’t be operating in isolation.



You’ll work closely with our BDM and Property Managers, acting as an important link between new business, leasing and ongoing property management.

The role suits someone who enjoys being out at properties, meeting people and conducting inspections, while also being comfortable getting back into the office and staying on top of applications, communication, reporting and administration.
