Workshop Controller, Lexus of Newcastle & Volvo Newcastle

Here's an exciting opportunity to join our outstanding team as a Workshop Controller for Lexus of Newcastle and Volvo Newcastle .

We exist to supply and service awesome vehicles to awesome people, to continue to do this, we are looking for a workshop controller to add to our team of amazing people.

The Role

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a Workshop controller's role, ensuring that the highest standard of quality workmanship is produced. You will be managing the day to day running of the service workshop and your responsibilities will include

- Manage workshop flow, whilst adhering to completion times
- Maintain positive team attitude
- Liaising with service advisors
- Supervising and assisting technicians with diagnosing problems
- Arranging and planning jobs
- Supervising and organising training
- Ensuring all warranty procedures have been adhered to
- Ensuring WHS Compliance
- Assisting the service manager
- Communication with the manufacturers
- Road testing vehicles

- Have vast mechanical knowledge
- Drivers licence required
- Truck licence preferred but not essential
