Metricon Homes, one of Australia’s leading multi award winning new home builders, is seeking to appoint a People (HR) Advisor based at its stylish and state of the art Head Office in Notting Hill VIC.

The role is to provide quality and commercially effective advice to our employees and business leaders whilst aiming to empower managers to build their people capability. This is an exciting prospect where your HR influence can directly result in tangible business outcomes.

In this varied and hands on role, key responsibilities include:

- Policy review and interpretation
- Performance management
- Grievance handling
- Employee engagement activities




- People analytics; and
- Talent management.

What we’re looking for:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR Advisory or similar people focused role
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Understanding of employment legislation, people policies and contemporary HR practice
- Highly developed communication, listening, consulting and problem solving skills
- Exposure to people management information systems; and
- A pragmatic, solutions focused orientation.

This role requires a national police check to be undertaken by the successful applicant.
