Cre8 Co. is looking for a talented Creative Exhibition & Experience Designer to join our Sydney team and work across exhibitions, brand activations and experiential spaces for some of Australia and the world’s leading brands.

Our clients include Coca-Cola, Lexus, Thales and a diverse portfolio of major Australian and international companies.

We’re looking for someone with strong creative instincts, great design taste and the ability to take a brief from an initial idea through to a real-world experience.

This is also a hands-on team role . We’re a collaborative business where everyone contributes to getting projects across the line. While design will be your primary focus, when the design workload is quieter, you’ll work alongside our Project Management team assisting with project coordination and administration.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DESIGNING

No two weeks at Cre8 Co. are quite the same.

You could be developing an activation for Coca-Cola, designing a sophisticated exhibition environment for Lexus, working on a corporate space for Thales or developing an entirely different experiential concept for another client.

Your design responsibilities will include:

Exhibition stand design

Brand activations and experiential spaces

3D spatial and environmental design

Creative concepts and initial design directions

Mood boards and client presentation decks

Design development and documentation

Materials, finishes, furniture, lighting and graphic integration

Developing concepts that are both visually impressive and realistically buildable

Working with our Project Management and production teams to take designs through to delivery

Keeping across global exhibition, experiential, retail and spatial design trends

Using AI-led creative and design programs to enhance concepts, visualisation and the overall creative process

PROJECT MANAGEMENT & ADMIN SUPPORT

Design is your primary responsibility, but this is not a design-only position.

There will naturally be periods when our design workload is quieter. During these times,



you’ll be expected to jump in and support our Project Management team to ensure our projects remain organized and are delivered well.

This could include:

Assisting with project schedules and documentation

Supplier quotes, coordination and follow-ups

Obtaining information and pricing from suppliers

Updating project information and internal systems

Assisting with client and supplier communications

General project administration

Helping the wider team keep jobs organised, on schedule and moving forward

We see this as an important part of the role because it gives you exposure to the entire project lifecycle - from the first sketch through to seeing the finished experience built on site.

We’re looking for someone who is happy to roll up their sleeves and help the team rather than someone who wants to work exclusively within the design stage.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

First and foremost, you need to be a great designer with a great eye.

You understand different design styles and know how to interpret a brand rather than applying the same aesthetic to every project.

Ideally, you’ll have experience in exhibitions, experiential design, activations, events, interiors, retail, spatial design or a closely related field.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has strong creative and spatial design skills

Is confident working in relevant 3D and design software

Understands different design styles, materials and finishes

Can interpret a client brief and develop a strong creative direction

Can move between premium, corporate, playful and highly experiential design

Understands that great concepts also need to be buildable

Is interested and confident using AI-assisted design and creative tools

Keeps up with emerging design technology and trends

Communicates well and enjoys working collaboratively

Is organised and capable of managing multiple priorities

Is comfortable speaking with suppliers, project managers and clients

Is happy to help with project coordination and administration

Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told every next step

HOW WE WORK

This is a Sydney-based hybrid position combining flexibility with genuine time working alongside the team.

The role includes:

1 day per week working from home

1 day per week from our city office

Remaining working days based around our wider team and project requirements

Because we design and deliver physical experiences, this isn’t a fully remote design role. Being connected to the people actually delivering the projects is an key part of how we work.
