Location: Brisbane, QLD (various sites across South East Queensland)
Salary: $80,000 – $82,000 per annum plus superannuation
Employment type: Full time, Permanent (38 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Attending sites to inspect and evaluate damage arising from fire, water, storm or mould events
- Preparing cost estimates and scopes of restoration works for insurer review
- Writing clear, detailed assessment reports with supporting photographic evidence
- Communicating with policyholders and other parties to obtain claim‑relevant information
- Coordinating with restoration technicians and trade contractors to progress claims
- Working within regulatory and industry (IICRC) standards at all times
Essential requirements
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in insurance restoration or loss assessment
- IICRC WRT accreditation or higher
- Valid White Card and QLD driver's licence
- Sound written communication and analytical skills
- Capacity to work independently and manage a caseload under time pressure
Conditions
- Company vehicle and phone provided.
- Some after-hours and weekend work may be required, with applicable penalty rates.
- Occasional interstate travel may be required to support catastrophic event response.
