As an Employment Consultant, you will support your caseloadof participants to take ownership of their journey to work. You will buildrelationships, identify opportunities, and actively connect participants withemployers.

You will partner with people with a disability to understandtheir goals, build their confidence and skills, and actively connect them withemployers. Success in this role comes from your ability to engage people, stayorganised, and keep momentum especially when things get challenging.

You don’t need direct industry experience, but you do needto be curious, proactive, and willing to learn quickly. We’re looking forpeople who come prepared, take initiative, and back themselves to build strongrelationships in the community.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Workingone-on-one with participants to set clear employment goals and actionplans
- Activelybuilding relationships with local employers to create job opportunities
- Promotingparticipants’ strengths and matching them to suitable roles
- Supportingparticipants before and after placement to ensure sustainable employment
- Identifyingbarriers and coordinating support services or training where needed
- Managingyour own caseload, priorities, and follow-ups to keep things moving
- Maintainingaccurate records and meeting program compliance requirements
- RepresentingSureway in the local community to build awareness and connections
