As a trusted People Partner, you will work closely with senior and operational leaders to deliver high-impact people and IR support.You’llplay a key role in both the strategic and day-to-day execution ofpeopleinitiatives—strengthening workforce planning, talent and performance outcomes, and overall employee experience. Partnering under the guidance of a Senior HR Business Partner, you will help embed consistent, best-practicepeopleframeworks while driving practical, commercially focused solutions across the business.
This roleis based in our Erskine Park branch andrequires frequent travel toour sites inMt. Thorley | Brisbane | Mackay.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders to deliver pragmatic HR, IR, performance and capability advice.
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, performance and compliance.
- Drive workforce planning, talent management, and succession outcomes.
- Embed consistent performance management and annual review processes.
- Support organisational change, design, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence leaders to deliver people outcomes.
Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in HR generalist support, including recruitment and employer branding.
- Strong understanding of Australian HR, IR, HSE and Workers Compensation legislation.
- Proven ability to analyse data, generate insights, and support workforce planning decisions.
- Well-developed stakeholder engagement, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, reporting, and HR processes.
