Field Service Technician – Gaming Machines (Light & Wonder)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide on‑site support for Light & Wonder gaming machines. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and multi‑terminal gaming machines (MTGMs), as well as ensuring high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform field installations, conversions and upgrades to a high standard.
- Record and report all work completed, ensuring required data is collated.
- Develop and deliver operator and technical training to venue staff as required.
- Escalate faults in a timely manner to maintain excellent customer service.
- Manage work schedules efficiently to satisfy customer and sales team needs.
- Provide weekly reports on operational field issues.
- Tag and process returned parts, perform fault‑finding and repair testing.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve operations, reduce turnaround times and streamline work processes.
- Travel interstate or internationally as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Previous experience as a field technician.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical reasoning and diplomacy in problem‑solving.
- Robust customer‑service orientation, organisation and stakeholder management skills; ability to work autonomously.
- Robust electro‑mechanical fault‑finding skills with understanding of computer systems, networking and troubleshooting.
Experience, Education & Qualification
- 5+ years exposure to EGMs, MTGMs and utility products in a support or maintenance capacity.
- Knowledge of gaming industry regulations and operating procedures.
- Formal technical certification is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable driving record.
- Physical capability to operate company‑supplied vehicles and lift equipment.
