MIPS is seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Development and Member Engagement Lead to lead our member acquisition, retention, and engagement strategy. This is a high-impact role driving business development, portfolio strategy, and brand reputation—delivering sustainable value for our members. This is a newly created role sitting in our SLT.
What You’ll Lead a Team of Professionals Responsible for
- Member strategy, experience, and portfolio management
- Business development and account growth
- Brand strategy and marketing communications
- Digital marketing, automation, and analytics
- Internal communications and cross-functional collaboration
What You Bring
- Proven leadership in business development and marketing in insurance, financial services, or APRA-regulated environments
- Ideally experience working in a customer or member-based environment.
- Strategic thinking with a robust commercial mindset
- Experience leading a team
- Expertise in digital trends, marketing tech, and data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Communications or related
- Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in relevant disciplines (desirable)
