Cloud Specialist - Azure, Up-to-date Work role at FUJIFILM Business Innovation Australia

Overview

We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Cloud Specialist- Azure, Modern Work to join our Fujifilm IT Services business. Reporting to the Technology Manager, you will lead architecture, design, implementation and management of best practice cloud-based environments. You will act as the subject matter expert in Azure, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure and efficient cloud infrastructure suitable to meet a variety of business needs. You will identify and drive adoption and optimisation of Microsoft 365 solutions to enhance productivity, security and collaborations across our customers cloud-only and hybrid work environments.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong problem solving and technical background in Azure who is looking to grow their career and aspire to becoming a practice/cloud lead. We are open to Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne locations with a hybrid work setup – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 Tools, enhancing hybrid work environments with Modern Work solutions.
- Provide training and support to end users to maximise adoption and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and guidelines, accurately representing the integration and serving as a reference for development teams.
- Mentor colleagues offering guidance and feedback.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and other project documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and other internal and external parties, ensuring they are informed and engaged throughout the project.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively communicating the project, explaining complex technical concepts, addressing concerns or questions related to the architecture, and reviewing and approving technical designs.




- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM.
- Monitor and optimize Azure environments including cost, licensing and identity management.

Skills & Qualifications

- Extensive experience in IT project delivery or Senior Engineer roles with a focus on the Microsoft suite.
- Proven record of delivering complex IT projects successfully, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Suite along with Modern Work solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance in a Modern Work context.
- Knowledge and application of relevant Australian Privacy Standards.
- Certification in Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Modern Workplace.
- Certification in project management methodologies, such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile.
- Candidates with Managed Services Provider (MSP) background will be highly regarded.
