A Metropolitan WA hospital requires a Specialist in Internal Medicine from 31/08/2026 to 18/10/2026.
0800-1700 weekdays with Some On Call and Weekend On Calls.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for thrombolysis/thrombectomy and ensure rapid reviews.
- Assess other stroke patients in ED (Stroke Registrar is first on call during day and weekdays).
- Inpatient management of acute stroke and stroke rehabilitation along with MDT.
- Manage outpatient clinic: stroke follow‑up, approx. 15 patients, supported by a Registrar and Intern.
