What you'll be doing
In this role, you will provide person‑centred, evidence‑informed anaesthetic nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care throughout the perioperative journey

- Deliver safe, timely and culturally appropriate care to patients with diverse healthcare needs





- Support and guide Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and Registered Nurse colleagues

- Promote evidence‑based practice and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

- Communicate effectively with patients, carers and healthcare professionals in line with professional standards

- Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA)

Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Perioperative Nursing Practice and in particular anaesthetic nursing.

Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients

3. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail

4. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
