The Prospect Peregian Springs Country Club offers resort-style retirement living in a peaceful, leafy setting just minutes from Peregian Beach and a short drive to Noosa. With wonderful amenities, a vibrant social scene, and support available when needed, it's a place where residents truly feel at home. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

This is a permanent part time role working the following Roster:

Week 1: Tuesday (7:00am – 1:00pm); Friday (7:00am-1:30pm) and Saturday (7:00am-1:00pm)

Week 2: (7:00am – 1:00pm) and Friday (7:00am-1:30pm)

Your Impact

Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments or light exercise)
Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents

What you'll bring

Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing
Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
Strong communication skills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents




Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (required)
Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)

What we offer

Weekday Rate: $36.23/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
Saturday Rate: $54.35/hr + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
Sleepover accommodation, allowance and amenities provided (if you stay overnight)
