You will independently deliver high level Community Health physiotherapy clinical services within the Cassowary Area Community Health Service.

About us:

Cassowary Area Community Health (CACH) provides access to time-limited healthcare services for clients living in the community with the aim to promote and support health self-management and independence, reduce the risk of hospital admission, and enhance overall quality of life. Our Community Health service includes Community Nursing, Allied Health, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Child Health.

We're committed to improving the health and wellbeing of people in Far North Queensland by providing high quality acute health care services.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will….

- Deliver high level community physiotherapy services and expert clinical consultancy within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professional leadership,



evidence-based practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Provide clinical and professional supervision, education and support to physiotherapy staff, allied health assistants, students and other relevant personnel, including competency development, skill enhancement and clinical placement supervision.
- Work cooperatively and effectively by maintaining timely, respectful and open communication (including accurate documentation and reporting) within multi-professional teams, with patients, their families/carers and other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required.
