Unite Resourcing is seeking an experienced Mining & Resources Recruitment Manager / Division Lead to play a key role in the next phase of growth of our business.

We are looking for an established mining recruitment professional with a strong Western Australian network, demonstrated business-development capability and a track record of building profitable client relationships across the mining and resources sector.

The successful person will join our senior operational team with a clear mandate: grow Unite’s mining and resources business.

The Opportunity
Unite Resourcing is an established Western Australian labour-hire and recruitment business servicing major projects and employers across mining, resources, construction, infrastructure and related industries.
We are now investing in the next stage of the business and want to significantly expand our mining and resources presence.

You will have the autonomy, internal support and commercial backing to develop the division around the opportunities you identify.
This role will combine business development, client management, recruitment leadership and commercial ownership.

You will be expected to:

- Develop new mining and resources clients across WA.
- Leverage and expand your existing industry network.
- Identify labour requirements, projects and emerging opportunities before they reach the broader market.
- Build long-term relationships with operational, procurement, HR and workforce decision-makers.
- Convert relationships into profitable labour-hire and recruitment agreements.
- Grow existing accounts where there is additional opportunity.
- Work closely with Unite’s recruitment team to ensure strong delivery against client requirements.




- Help determine which mining disciplines, commodities, regions and workforce categories Unite should prioritise.
- Maintain commercial discipline around pricing, margins, candidate quality and client performance.
- Contribute as a senior member of the operational team as the broader business continues to grow.

Who We’re Looking For

The network matters.

We are particularly interested in people who have spent several years recruiting into the WA mining and resources sector and can demonstrate genuine relationships with clients and decision-makers.
You may currently be a Senior Recruitment Consultant, Principal Consultant, Recruitment Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager or Mining Division Manager.
The title matters considerably less than what you have built.
Ideally, you will bring:

- A strong existing network across WA mining and resources.
- A demonstrated history of winning and growing client accounts.
- Deep knowledge of mining labour-hire and recruitment.
- Robust commercial and negotiation capability.
- Credibility with senior client stakeholders.
- An understanding of labour-hire pricing, margins and workforce delivery.
- The ability to operate independently and take ownership of a market.
- A competitive, entrepreneurial approach to business development.




- A reputation for actually delivering what you promise.

Experience across areas such as mining operations, mobile plant, fixed plant, mechanical, electrical, maintenance, shutdowns, processing, trades, technical or professional mining recruitment will be highly regarded.
