We are seeking an experienced part-time veterinarian to join a long-standing small animal practice in Adelaide.

This role offers the flexibility to work two to three days per week, with days negotiable, plus participation in a rotating Saturday morning roster from 9:00am to 1:00pm. It would suit a vet looking for a varied clinical role within an experienced, close-knit and collaborative team.

The practice treats dogs, cats and pocket pets, with a varied caseload offering a balance of consultations and surgery. Services include desexing, surgical procedures, ultrasound, radiology, dentistry with dental x-rays and an IDEXX in-house laboratory system. Experience or an interest in dentistry, imaging or surgical memberships would be highly regarded.

You’ll work alongside four veterinarians and nine veterinary nurses who collaborate to provide a high standard of patient care. The team has special interests in behaviour medicine, pocket pets and exotics, providing access to a broad range of knowledge and mentorship. The practice places a strong emphasis on teamwork, professional development and building positive relationships with clients and their pets.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent degree recognised in Australia and have at least two years of veterinary clinic experience across both consultations and surgery.



The successful applicant will be able to work collaboratively with fellow team members, build rapport with clients and bring strong organisational and communication skills. A positive, friendly attitude and a desire to continue developing professionally are also important.
