About the role and about us

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Magnes Projects. We are a family owned and operated award winning commercial builder based on the Gold Coast. Specialising in the education sector we work across a number of government and non-government clients.

As a part of our carpentry team, you will play a crucial role in the construction and refurbishment of a diverse range of projects. This is a casual position, with a full time position available for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications to carry out tasks

- Collaborating with the carpentry team and other contractors to ensure projects are completed to a high standard

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment





- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

- Relevant trade certificate or qualification in Carpentry

- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Carpenter, commercial experience is preferable but not essential

- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in carpentry

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
