We are currently seeking a Casual Produce Assistant to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team on James Street, Fortitude Valley, working with high-quality fresh fruit and veg! If you're eager to learn and ready to jump into a new role, we want to hear from you.

About this role:

- Providing excellent customer service

- Store set up; merchandising; fruit displays; packing and wrapping of products

- Cutting and preparing fruit and vegetables for display

- Weekend and weekday availability essential, must be available for 5AM start times

- 30+ hours available for the right candidate

To be successful in this position, you must meet the following criteria:

- Previous experience working with Fruit and Veg (highly regarded)





- Must be physically fit, as the role requires you to be able to lift, carry, display and store produce.

- Good eye for detail and great knowledge of fresh produce, seasons and products

- Team player with good communication skills

- Reliable and hard working

- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace

- Superior customer service skills and register experience preferable

- Forklift license desirable

- Reliable transport to Fortitude Valley
