Little Zak’s Academy is looking for an exceptional leader to step into our 99-place service in Nulkaba.
The centre has experienced its ups and downs, and we are now looking for someone who can step in, take the lead and set a clear direction for the future.

You will have the autonomy, support and resources to lead your team, rebuild momentum and shape the service for long-term success.

You will have:

About the Role
As Centre Director,
you will take overall responsibility for the leadership and performance of the service.
Your focus will be on:
- Building a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture
- Developing your educators, Room Leaders and emerging leaders
- Creating consistency and stability across the service
- Leading high-quality educational practice aligned with the EYLF and NQS
- Building strong and trusted relationships with children, families and the local community
- Maintaining compliance and ensuring the service operates to a high standard
- Driving occupancy, enrolments and overall centre performance
- Managing budgets and making sound commercial decisions
- Leading the service as Nominated Supervisor
You will be supported, but you will also be trusted to lead.

About You We are looking for a leader who is confident taking ownership and knows how to bring people with them.
You will have:
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Previous experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor or Assistant Director/2IC
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, National Regulations and compliance
- The ability to build a strong team culture and develop educators
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of occupancy and centre performance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The confidence to make decisions and take accountability for the outcomes of your service
- The resilience and leadership capability to step into a challenging environment and create positive change
