About the role
Daily tasks will include:
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received which includes: checking delivered stock to delivery dockets and original purchase orders. Follow up on stock that has been back ordered.
- Data entry and maintenance of the computerised inventory management system
- Carrying out receipting, issuing and stock control of a range of products, goods and equipment
- Communicate with team members in regards to buying and distributing materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies
- Stack and organise stock received
- Maintain appropriate stock levels in the store and have an awareness of when reordering of low stock is required
- Distribute stock and equipment to manufacturing staff as requested throughout the day
- Arrange for disposal of surplus materials & keep workspace neat and tidy
- Comply with safety and OH&S; requirements
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- Willingness to follow protected work practices
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Strong communication and organisational skills to work with a sense of urgency
- High attention to detail and willingness to be responsible for quality of own work produced
- Trustworthy with a positive can-do attitude
- Past experience with an inventory management system is advantageous but not essential
- Will need to consent to all internal security clearance requirements

- 7am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am - 12pm Friday
