An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced operational leader to join a leading healthcare provider as Head of Operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will act as the second-in-command across a multi-site network, leading operational performance, supporting site leadership teams, and driving excellence in patient access, service delivery, compliance, and workforce performance. This is a high-profile leadership position offering the opportunity to influence strategic and operational outcomes across a geographically diverse healthcare network.
Key responsibilities
- Lead operations across multiple healthcare sites throughout WA
- Act as deputy to the General Manager and key member of the leadership team
- Drive operational efficiency, patient access and service turnaround times
- Coach, mentor and support Site Managers and Operational Leaders
- Partner with clinical leaders to ensure quality, safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational performance across the network
- Foster a positive, high-performing culture focused on patient outcomes and service excellence
About you
- Significant healthcare, clinical services or medical operations leadership experience
- Proven success managing multiple sites and geographically dispersed teams
- Strong people leadership skills with experience leading large and diverse workforces
- The ability to influence and engage both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on operational approach
- Experience driving operational improvements, service delivery outcomes and organisational performance
