Your new role:
As a Specialist Gastroenterology & Hepatology Medical Officer, you will provide high-quality specialist consultation to adult patients attending the Inala Indigenous Health Service, working alongside GP specialists, referring GPs, allied health professionals and the broader multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to culturally responsive, patient-centred care while supporting clinical education, interprofessional learning, quality improvement, research and service innovation. This is an opportunity to share your specialist expertise, strengthen integrated models of care and help shape positive health outcomes for the community.

You are a highly skilled and collaborative specialist who brings strong gastroenterology and hepatology expertise, a commitment to culturally responsive care, and a genuine focus on improving outcomes for patients and the wider community.
- Specialist expertise: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality gastroenterology and hepatology care to adult patients.
- Collaborative leader: Builds strong partnerships across multidisciplinary teams and works effectively with GPs, allied health and other health professionals.
- Excellent communicator: Communicates respectfully and effectively, adapting your approach to patients, families, colleagues and diverse professional groups.
