About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Barcoo Aged Care Facility in Blackall. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care, lead and mentor your team, and ensure we continue to meet the highest standards of aged care.

Key Responsibilities

- Clinical Excellence: Conduct comprehensive assessments and lead evidence-based care strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records using our electronic health systems.
- Leadership: Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and performance support to care staff, students, and volunteers; assist with rostering.
- Compliance: Ensure our service meets all legislative, accreditation, and safety standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external health providers.





About You
You are a motivated, compassionate Registered Nurse with at least 12 months of clinical experience and a natural aptitude for leadership. You are deeply committed to aged care and delivering safe, high-quality outcomes for our residents.

Essential Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience.
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work a rotating roster (AM, PM, and Night Duty).
- Current CPR certification and a valid Australian Driver’s License.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability.
- Valid Australian Work Rights (including New Zealand Citizens; sponsorship is unavailable for this role).
