We are excited to be opening the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) in Perth and require an experienced People and Culture Partner to support the opening of the hospital and provide ongoing partnering support in a versatile part-time role.

The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) is one of the largest Veterinary hospital networks in the Southern Hemisphere, offering multi-disciplinary specialist and emergency services across multiple locations in New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and now Western Australia.

About the Role:
As a P&C; Partner, you will play a crucial role in the successful opening and ongoing operation of our Perth hospital. This includes implementing People & Culture initiatives such as leadership capability and culture plans, providing advice, coaching and guidance to leaders and contributing to overall hospital performance. You will be part of the local hospital leadership team and part of the broader People & Culture function supporting SASH nationally.
About You:
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience, excellent stakeholder relationship skills, who is eager to grow in their role and contribute proactively to making SASH Perth a great place to work.
To be successful, you will have:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a senior People & Culture role, with a strong focus on business partnering
- Strong workplace relations experience, with confidence advising leaders on complex and sensitive matters
- Strong understand of People & Culture principles and practices, with the ability to apply these in a practical, commercial way
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Passion for leadership development building positive, high-performing cultures
- Demonstrated change management experience, including leading and embedding change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability, with sound judgement
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience with HRIS systems, particularly Dayforce
- Experience in a start-up, new business opening or complex project environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (degree level preferred)
- Accreditation in a culture diagnostic tool (for example Organisational Culture Inventory) and/or leadership development tool
- Change management accreditation
