Our Client has been at the forefront of environmental and ecological solutions for the best part of three decades. As a result of increased workload with their Sydney Water Contract, we are seeking to appoint a Water operator based out of their Wollongong Depot.

As a Water Operator your work ethic, enthusiasm and physical fitness will hold you in good stead to undertake the manual tasks required for these roles in a safe and efficient manner.

These positions are a minimum 40 hour work week with the potential to earn penalty rates on Weekends and plenty of Overtime. Temporary to Permanent positions may be offered to the right candidates.

Your role will be travelling with a buddy (company vehicle) in the Greater Illawarra area responsible for environmental cleanup, manual cleaning using hand tools and equipment specific to liquid waste cleanup. You will also need to be available to work weekends if required and possess a positive work ethic and safety attitude.

Essential Requirements for the role:

- Possess a current C Class Drivers Licence

- OHS Construction Induction Card (white Card)

- Confined Space Standby Ticket,



current within 2 years with the following training modules:

PUASAR025 – Undertake confined space rescue

MSMWHS216 – Operate breathing apparatus

HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

MSMWHS217 – Gas test atmospheres

RIIWHS202E – Enter and work in confined spaces

MSMPER200 – Work in accordance with an issued permit

MSMPER202 – Observe permit work

- Working at Heights Certificate (within 2 years)

- Willing to receive Hepatitis A&B; and Tetanus Vaccines (or have them already)
