Jayco is Australia’s leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles, proudly designing and building quality products for Australian and international markets. We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Leather Cutter to join our manufacturing team at our Dandenong South facility.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has experience working with leather, vinyl, fabric or similar materials and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

About the Role

As a Leather Cutter, you will be responsible for accurately cutting leather and other upholstery materials used across our recreational vehicle range.

Working as part of our production team, you will follow patterns, specifications and production requirements to ensure materials are cut accurately, efficiently and to Jayco’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Cut leather, vinyl, fabric and other upholstery materials according to patterns and specifications.

· Inspect materials for defects and ensure the best use of material when cutting.

· Accurately measure and prepare materials for production.





· Operate cutting equipment and tools safely and correctly.

· Ensure completed work meets required quality standards.

· Minimise material waste through efficient cutting and material placement.

· Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.

· Follow workplace health and safety procedures.

· Work closely with the wider production and upholstery team to meet daily production requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience in leather, fabric or upholstery cutting.

- Experience within a manufacturing, upholstery, automotive, furniture or similar workplace.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to read and follow patterns, templates and measurements.

- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
