About the role:
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll shape the future of Plenti’s lending platform, leading the Origination Platform that powers customer and partner journeys across the business.
This is a high impact, platform-first role where you’ll define the vision, strategy and roadmap for the shared capabilities that sit at the heart of Plenti’s growth. You’ll build scalable, reusable foundations that enable our Consumer, Commercial, Renewables, Direct and Partnership channels to launch faster, innovate more easily and deliver exceptional lending experiences.
You’ll work across the full origination ecosystem from customer facing experiences and partner onboarding to internal operational tooling and core platform services. You’ll simplify complexity, unlock scale and enable teams across Plenti to move faster and deliver smarter, more connected experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the strategy and evolution of Plenti’s Origination Platform: Set the vision and roadmap for a scalable, cross-channel platform, balancing near-term business priorities with the capabilities needed to support Plenti’s long-term growth.
- Shape the platform with Engineering: Partner closely with Engineering to make smart architecture and product decisions across configuration, onboarding, scalability, resilience and technical debt.
- Turn complexity into simple, automated experiences:
Identify operational pain points and transform them into intuitive product capabilities that reduce friction, increase automation and improve outcomes for customers, partners and our teams.
- Bring teams together around one platform vision: Work across Product, Technology and business teams to align competing priorities and create shared capabilities that deliver value across Consumer, Commercial, Renewables, Direct and Partnership channels.
- Measure what matters: Define and track meaningful platform outcomes, including reliability, adoption, automation, operational efficiency and delivery velocity, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Build compliance and risk into the product: Embed regulatory, compliance and risk requirements into the platform by design, creating a strong foundation that enables innovation while maintaining the right controls.
- Champion a platform-first way of working: Drive reusable services, standardised capabilities and common patterns that reduce duplication, simplify delivery and enable Plenti’s teams to move faster and innovate at scale.
About you:
You’re an experienced Product Manager with a strong track record of building and managing digital platforms and shared infrastructure in complex, regulated environments. You’re comfortable balancing the needs of multiple channels, customers, and internal teams while maintaining a clear and scalable product direction. You bring strong commercial and strategic judgement, understand how regulation and risk influence product decisions, and are skilled at bringing diverse stakeholders together around shared priorities.
You will have:
- 5+ years of product management experience in a digital product environment, with a proven track record of owning platform or shared-infrastructure products
- Multi-channel platform experience, managing products that serve distinct audiences or distribution channels with competing needs, and actively governing platform scope to minimise duplication and prevent fragmentation
- Experience in regulated financial services or fintech,
with a practical understanding of how compliance obligations, regulatory frameworks, and risk appetite influence product strategy and decision-making
- Demonstrated experience managing a mixed product portfolio spanning both customer-facing products and internal tooling, with a clear and defensible approach to prioritisation across competing needs
- Open Banking, CDR, or identity verification experience is preferred, alongside a demonstrated ability to rapidly build deep domain expertise in complex, regulated technology environments
- Robust stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience aligning multiple business units or channel owners around a shared platform strategy, particularly where stakeholders have legitimate and competing priorities
