A well-established commercial builder with a strong track record across fit out, refurbishment and new-build projects is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead an $8M medical facility fit out in Melbourne’s north.

Commencing in early September, this is a long-term contract opportunity
with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right person.

The Role

- Take No.1 responsibility for the ~$8M fit out
- Manage site operations from mobilisation through to completion
- Drive programming, sequencing and two-week look-ahead planning
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics
- Maintain strong WHS, QA and compliance standards
- Manage programme milestones and stakeholder communication
- Identify and resolve issues to keep the project moving

About You

- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a head contractor




- Strong commercial fit out and refurbishment experience
- Medical/healthcare experience highly regarded
- Confident managing construction programs and sequencing
- Strong safety, quality and compliance focus
- Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, organised and capable of taking full ownership of a project
